LAFAYETTE, CA – (May 17) – For anyone who loved eating their way through Lafayette during its annual Taste of Lafayette, local food tour company Local Food Adventures announces today that it is coming through the Caldecott Tunnel with a new two-hour monthly walking food tour in Lafayette.

“Since starting our Rockridge Ice Cream & Gelato tour , I’ve seen how excited families are to bring the food tour experience to their kids,” Lauren McCabe Herpich, owner of Local Food Adventures, says. “Now that my family and I moved to Lafayette, I felt like it was a great opportunity to create another family-friendly tour that expands our kids’ tastebuds, shares more Bay Area history and highlights our new hometown.”

In addition to enjoying tasty bites, the new Eat Stay Love Lafayette Food Tour includes a walk around downtown Lafayette accompanied by history researched by Herpich through the Lafayette Historical Society. Featured tour offerings include tastings from Papillon Coffee , Amphora Nueva , Rancho Cantina and SusieCakes .

The Eat Stay Love Lafayette Food Tour is the perfect experience for Lafayette newbies who are now making this town home as well as families interested in exploring multiple restaurants and eateries all at one time.

“Our tours continue to provide East Bay locals something fun to do,” Herpich says, “but what also makes me proud is also that we have helped introduce our guests to the local businesses that make our community the special place that it is.”

Moms are superheroes who deserve to be celebrated every year—but especially this year, as they have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to CBS News , women lost one million more jobs than men during the pandemic, and the year also highlighted the lack of affordable childcare options. Mother’s Day, which falls on Sunday, May 9th this year, couldn’t be a better day to celebrate your mom and give her a special gift to make sure she knows how much you cherish her.
