Local Food Adventures • Apr 07, 2017

Here are some East Bay Easter activities and egg hunts to enjoy with your friends and family while we give our amazing tour stops a break during this upcoming holiday weekend.

Shared by our friends at 510 Families , the Tilden Park Merry Go Round Easter Egg Hunt  goes from 11 am – 2:30 and gives kids ages four and younger and five and older the opportunity to find the hidden eggs throughout the Merry Go Round Property. Just place your sticker on the provided sheet and turn it in to receive a special PRIZE! April 1 – 16, Tilden Park Merry Go Round

Why just look for eggs from the Easter Bunny at some other East Bay Easter activities when you can actually eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny! If you’re heading to the Tilden Park Merry Go Round for the Egg Hunt, why not go on April 9 when you can get a little more bang – and bacon – for your buck! Sunday, April 9; 8:30 – 10:30 am; Tilden Park Merry Go Round

Enjoy a lovely seasonal budget from the Meritage’s chef Ernest Moreno and pastry chef Nadia Licea that includes bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar for the adults and a balloon artist for the kids. Sunday, April 16; 10 am – 4 pm; Claremont Club & Spa

It’s bunnies and fun all around at this Lake Merritt fave! Listed by Bay Area Kid Fun , Children’s Fairyland will kick off this holiday weekend of East Bay Easter activities with a performance by the Tap Dancing Easter Bunnies – now that’s something you won’t want to miss!  Saturday & Sunday, April 15 & 16; 11 am – 4 pm;  Children’s Fairyland

Over 2,000 children and parents attend this annual event so get your baskets ready! And if you need a bit of a break from the eggs and bunnies, families are also able to tour the Historic 117-year Mansion.  Saturday, April 15; 10 am – 3 pm;  Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate

Mother’s Day, which falls on Sunday, May 9th this year, couldn’t be a better day to celebrate your mom and give her a special gift to make sure she knows how much you cherish her.
