We can’t come over to your place to cook you some classic Oakland dishes, so we’ve done the next best thing: we’ve make an Oakland and East Bay Cookbook! We love talking about food, and we especially love championing the incredible local restaurants and dishes around Oakland. We got together with some of our amazing  East bay Food Tour  partners to create the quintessential Oakland and East Bay cookbook with some amazing food from our award-winning tours. This is a book of recipes created by some of the best chefs and food experts in all of the East Bay Area.

We want to see the food you create!

Local food brings us together. And talking about local food brings us together even more! We would love to give anyone stuck at home something fun to do – with the chance to win a great foodie prize: a  Local Love Gift Box ! All you have to do is try one of the recipes from our cookbook and to take a picture of your wonderful food creations.

We have always believed in supporting local businesses here at Local Food Adventures, and that’s more important now than ever before. Not only do we support our small business partners, but we also give $1 for every tour ticket to our local Alameda County Community Food Bank. We hope that this cookbook will inspire some of you to make sure to visit these amazing East Bay restaurants and foodie spots once the lockdown has been lifted. It’s great to support local businesses while enjoying some tasty local food!
